An intelligent number is a number of your choice, which cleverly manages your calls for you, independent of the telephone line.
Many businesses are finding the use of an intelligent number beneficial. Non-Geographic Virtual Numbers allows your business to have non-geographic numbers for your business phones and faxes. These Virtual Numbers won’t ever change, even if the company relocates offices. This is why having an intelligent number is hugely beneficial as your business adapts and grows.
How An Intelligent Number Works
01/02 Local Numbers
Comms Management’s Virtual Numbers allow businesses to advertise a number corresponding to every city you wish to target enquiries from. For example, your business may be based in North Wales but you’ve got a London number.
084 – Chargeable Service Numbers
Calls to 0843 numbers, 0844 numbers and 0845 numbers are charged at higher rates than standard phone calls. The cost of the call includes a service charge of up to 7p per minute or per call which is used to fund the service provided, which is on top of a standard access charge made by the caller’s phone company.
087 – Chargeable Service Numbers
Calls to 0870 numbers, 0871 numbers and 0872 numbers are charged at higher rates than standard phone calls. The cost of the call includes a service charge of up to 13p per minute or per call, which is used to fund the service provided, which is on top of a standard access charge made by the caller’s phone company.
03 numbers are typically used for customer service and enquiry centres, helplines and sales lines. The following features apply to all numbers starting with 03:
- The cost is the same as a normal ’01’ or ’02’ landline
- Cannot generate money for the call recipient
- It’s not associated with any particular location
- Offer businesses advanced facilities for routing and redirecting calls
Call us today to find out more about Comms Management’s products
Comms Management knows that Telecoms services are business critical and that major disasters could bring businesses to a halt. We specialise in building resilient solutions, but even then, disaster can still happen.
Fires, floods or even trigger-happy pneumatic drill operators can bring your business to a halt. As today’s businesses rely so much on the ability to communicate with clients around-the-clock, any downtime can be disastrous and a costly experience. As well as the loss of sales, your brand image can be rapidly damaged if customers cannot contact you.
Did you know that the main reason for IT downtime in a business is human error, which is followed closely by unexpected updates and patches? At Comms Management, we continually develop our customer’s tech skills so if disaster does strike, the reason is due to external forces.
Comms Management helps you build a Disaster Recovery Plan and plan for the worst. In addition, we provide off-site hosted disaster recovery solutions to ensure your business is kept online. We’ll also create a Business Continuity Plan for your company, allowing you to keep running, if for any reason your office is out of action.
