Joe is responsible for the development and execution of the company strategy with a long term view of developing a wider range of services. He ensures the Townley Group brands deliver a professional and friendly service with the reassurance of a local service, backed up by a national group with a broad range of expertise and resources.

Joe Burns

Group Technical Director

Joe manages the technical processes and operations across the group whilst also acting as an IT consultant to Townley Group clients. Joe is a certified cyber essentials practitioner and an ethical hacker, regularly delivering seminars to businesses who want to protect themselves against cyber threats. When he’s not working, Joe considers himself a bit of a cocktail master and can often be found making ‘Brambles’ and enjoying tapas with his friends.

Paul Williams

Strategic Account Manager

Paul has worked in the IT and Telecoms industry for 14 years, and has been with Comms Management for 11 of those.  Over the years he has gained extensive knowledge of our product base and now designs bespoke on-premise and hosted telephony solutions. SIP migration, and data connectivity are a speciality.

Steffan Whiteley

Lead Project Manager

After graduating with an IT degree, bilingual Steffan joined the team in 2012 and quickly built up his telecoms knowledge both in the workplace and studying Cisco networking at college. He now specialises in managing IT, Data and Telecoms projects and installations mainly for Comms  Management but is also in demand across the Townley Group.

Katie Lench

Office Manager

Coming from a strong admin background, Office Manager Katie has worked at Comms Management since 2012 specialising in customer service and managing the monthly bill run.  With four years of helping customers with their enquiries she has learned a surprising amount about the services Comms provides. No one is more surprised than she is.

Nia Laing

Customer Support Executive

Welsh speaking Nia has worked at Comms Management since the very early days giving customer support in Welsh and English.  She has wide experience as first line technical support and in mobile tariffing and billing.  Nia also finds time to be a key member of the Comms Management team.

Bryn Jones

Technical Support Executive

Bryn was head-hunted to the Comms Management team direct from completing his Welsh Baccalaureate at Coleg Llandrillo in 2015.  Already a self-confessed IT ‘geek’ he quickly took to the telephony side of Comms Management product base and now heads up the first line technical support.  He is also studying Cisco networking at evening class.

Luke Taylor

Cyber Security Specialist

Luke was given his first three books on Visual Basic Programming at the age of 10, teaching himself how to program and igniting his interest for IT in general. Luke continued to teach himself how to do a whole host of things whilst also completing a level 3 diploma in IT and Business Telecoms. He later joined Pyranet, part of the Townley Group and over time, has progressed into a cyber security specialist who performs penetration tests, password cracking exercises and general ethical hacker activities.
